While Peninsula Sotheby’s International Realty senior sales associate Patrick Sinn declined to comment on who the sellers were, he said the abode’s location was highly desirable and close to local beaches.

“The property is very well designed in its zoning,” Mr Sinn said.

“It’s got plenty of privacy and all the amenities that families are looking for in a summer holiday property, particularly some wonderful alfresco entertaining spaces.”

CoreLogic data shows the couple purchased the house in March 2015 for $5.9m and decided to enhance the property in 2017.
