The largest waterfront landholding in Northbridge has reset records on Sydney’s north shore with its sale today for close to $45m.
A Sydney-based family has snapped up the grand estate on a 3434sqm block at 49 Coolawin Rd in a deal negotiated by Michael Coombs and Andrew Drury of Atlas.
Coombs said at the time of the listing in late January: “In my two decades of real estate, I’ve never come across a waterfront property like this.”
The property disappeared from realestate.com.au this afternoon but neither agent would discuss the sale, leaving other sources to confirm the deal was done close to the $45m guide.
The sale means three North Shore homes have now transacted for more than $40m.

The first was the Lavender Bay home of property veteran Greg Paramor, AO, and his wife Kerry for $42.2m in December, 2022 and then Mosman home of Sydney Swans chairman Andrew Pridham for about $40m last August.
The latest big deal was for a six-bedroom mansion owned by Kristie Ward of the Primo Smallgoods family, who bought it in 2017 for $21m from Robert and Kelly Salteri of the Transfield and Tenix infrastructure family but has since undertaken a thorough luxury renovation.
