Former Western Bulldogs vice president and well-known philanthropist Susan Alberti is selling a Mt Eliza house with a $5.7m-$6.27m asking range.
Decades ago, Ms Alberti and her late husband Angelo founded the industrial and commercial builder DANSU Group.
Also the 2018 Victorian of the Year, Ms Alberti was instrumental in helping to establish the AFLW – in fact, the VWFL Premier Division Cup was named the Susan Alberti Cup in her honour.

She served four years as the Bulldogs’ VP and retired following the club’s 2016 grand final win.
That same year, she was appointed a Companion of the Order of Australia for her philanthropic work in medical research, plus educational, sporting and health organisations.
The Susan Alberti Medical Research Foundation has helped to raise more than $200m towards finding a cure for type 1 diabetes.
Ms Alberti’s five-bedroom home features a kitchen fitted with stone benchtops, shaker-style cabinetry and timber pantry doors imported from a French monastery, by the previous owners.
There’s also a formal lounge room, dining hall, home office, gas fireplaces, chandeliers and a powder room.
The house’s kitchen, bathrooms and outdoor pool are among the recently renovated areas.

The home has a Hamptons-style outdoor entertainment space.
The main bedroom suite includes a lounge room, two ensuites and walk-in wardrobes.
Outdoors, there’s a heated pool next to a gazebo, poolside bathroom, travertine-tiled terraces and a ballroom above the garage.
Set on more than 3000sq m, the English-inspired garden contains hydrangeas, roses and mature trees.
O’Brien Real Estate’s Oliver Muehlke and Matthew Murdoch both declined to comment on the abode’s owner, but public records show it belongs to Ms Alberti.
The kitchen features stone benchtops, shaker-style cabinetry and a farmhouse-style sink.

The home is close to Toorak College and Mt Eliza’s beach.
Mr Murdoch said the residence had been extensively renovated across the past few years.
“It has got a formal elegance about it that will never date,” he said.
The ballroom could be used as a gym, guest quarters or for multi-generational family living, he added.
“It would be a great property to host people,” Mr Murdoch said.
Mr Muehlke added that he expected family buyers would show interest in the house, and that the garage included a kitchen set-up for caterers to use when special events were held at the house.
Expressions of interest close at 5pm on April 3.
