
F1 star Lewis Hamilton has a secret $250m empire.
Formula One superstar Lewis Hamilton is said to have a net worth of around $480m and much of that he has spent very wisely.
The seven-time F1 champ, who debuts with Ferrai at this weekend’s Australian Grand Prix has ploughed plenty of that dough into real estate.
All up his real estate investments could make half of that net worth of around $250m.
And for a man who seems to enjoy the finer things in life, it’s no surprise that his homes are situated in some of the most sought-after and beautiful locations on the globe.

When he’s not travelling the world racing, Hamilton lives in a $24.5m mansion in Monaco, a country with some of the most expensive real estate in the world.
The 40-year-old’s racing rivals Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc also call the microstate on the French Riviera home.
Hamilton has kept quiet about his Monaco home, however it is said to be in the Fontvieille District, which is in the western part of the country that sits on land reclaimed from the sea.
Exclusive Fontvieille is best known for its modern architecture, its marina and green space.
There top floor apartments can sell for as much as $62m, putting even Sydney’s crazy prices in the shade.

Of the playground of the rich and famous, Hamilton wrote on social media: “A place I call home, Monte Carlo. I am so blessed to live in such an incredible place. God is really shining down on me today.
“Sending you light & love for your day. On my way to Spa, let’s do this!!!”
More is known about Hamilton’s London base, where he calls a $38 million pad in upscale Kensington his own.
Kensington is just west of Central London and is best known for its Victorian buildings and embassies.
The home features a large entertaining spaces that leads out to a grand garden and a summer house. The main house boasts four reception rooms and two giant bathrooms.
However, according to reports, Hamilton does not spend a lot of time there. His London home is said to be one of the area’s most stylish and was formerly owned by Burberry designer Christopher Bailey.

Englishman Hamilton has also invested in property across the Atlantic Ocean in New York City.
In 2019, he spent $66m on a penthouse in Manhattan in a luxurious project that was co-owned by NFL great Tom Brady.
According to The Sun. Hamilton’s 6,547 square-foot (608 sqm) home included a huge outdoor area and has views of the Hudson River, as well as a swimming pool, fitness centre, squash court, library and wine cellar.
Neighbours include Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence and Austin Powers star Mike Myers.
Around the same time, he listed his three-floor 8,900-square-foot penthouse that had its own swimming pool.

Hamilton paid £34m ($70m) for the five-bedroom, six-bathroom apartment in Tribeca in 2017, but incredibly never lived in it. It’s not known if he ever did sell it.
The Ferrari star also owns property in the US, further west in Colorado.
During a chat about that retreat with the BBC, Hamilton said: “I’ve never really been home [before].

“In my winter, I go to the mountains [in Colorado], which I really see as my main home, because it’s a house and it’s full of love and memories from people, the family that come every winter. Where I live in Monaco, it’s been somewhere I go back to and I’d call home but it lacks those memories.

“I’d be there for short periods of time. So it’s not been the easiest.”
And Hamilton also owns in the famous Lake Geneva in Switzerland.
He bought a 3-bed apartment there in the Alpine Foothills in 2007, according to reports.
And most recently Hamilton snapped up a massive luxury unit in Milan’s Porta Nuova district – one of Italy’s main business districts and one of the richest business areas in all of Europe.

Hamilton is grateful for what he does have.
“I never could have even dreamed to own a home like the one I do now,” he wrote on social median in 2020 with a photo of himself in one of his homes.
“And to own a home that I love so much, get to create so many wonderful memories brings me more happiness than I ever thought I could deserve.”
