They show people through some of the country’s most beautiful homes for a living, so it’s no surprise some of the top real estate agents have pretty jawdropping pads of their own.
Whether they’re on or off the clock, these housing experts are always looking for some of the best properties.
While some have already upgraded to bigger and better homes, these are just a few of the properties you might catch them living in.

Brisbane – Matt Lancashire, Ray White The Collective
It’s taken a lot of work for top real estate agent Matt Lancashire to turn his home into his family’s dream residence — and it’s not done yet.
The Ray White New Farm agent and his family bought the heritage home ‘Blenheim House’ in 2019, priced at the time at $4.05 million.
Also known as ‘Dalveen’, the four-bedroom, two-bathroom home was originally constructed in around 1887 for a civil engineer named John Garner Johnson.
More than a century later, the Lancashires are working to renovate it after a legal dispute with the Brisbane City Council, who objected to the home’s proposed modifications at the time.
The planned renovation included a three-storey extension to the original home, adding a master bedroom, wine cellar and recreational rooms like a sauna and gym.
Renders were made of the proposed development by the old house, designed to expand the family’s lifestyle.
Mr Lancashire said the family bought the home out of a love for its heritage, but wanted to accommodate a modern living style for a family of six.
“We are growing a family here and are deeply entrenched in the community,” he said.
The home’s interior underwent a cosmetic renovation with help from The Block couple, Michael and Carleen Duffy.

Brisbane – Heath Williams, Place
One of Brisbane’s top property agents found that a year’s worth of tinkering on a good home can really make it shine.
Place New Farm agent Heath Williams bought his home at 118 Brookes St, Fortitude Valley, for $1.68 million in 2021.
Designed and used by architect James Russell, the home was bought for Mr Williams’ personal use when inspecting the house as an agent.
“I looked at this house for a client of mine,” he said, “and I just walked through the door and thought ‘I’ve got to have it’.”
Having lived there for just under two years, Mr Williams conducted a $500,000 restoration on the property. Upgrades included new bedrooms and flooring, along with bathrooms and lighting across the home.
The home sold for $3.2 million after updates to the bedrooms, bathrooms, flooring and lighting.
The 215 sqm property has two floors, two bedrooms and two bathrooms – in a thin strip of land that features a church as one of its perimeter walls.
“Architectural homes and luxury homes are not normally the same thing,” Mr Williams said, having also bought several architectural homes as investment properties. “People don’t understand, there are sacrifices you make for good architecture.”
The home sold in early 2023 for $3.2 million, with Mr Williams having plans to design and build his next new home.
Star of hit TV series Gavin Rubinstein bought a townhouse in the eastern suburbs that went up by nearly $2 million in price when he sold it.
Sydney – Gavin Rubinstein, TRG
Luxe Listings star Gavin Rubinstein was sitting pretty in a $6.25 million home in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney for two years — and by the time he sold it, the townhouse was worth around $8 million.
Designed by home builder, Future Flip, the contemporary Waverly home was a new build when Rubinstein bought it in March of 2022.
With five bedrooms and three bathrooms, the property featured a master suite with two walk-in wardrobes, a balcony with custom bar and Velux skylit ceilings, along with an eco-heated pool, smart home features and lift accessibility throughout the property.
Rubinstein bought one of the two ‘mirrored’ Waverly homes designed by Future Flip, worth $8 million at the time he sold it.
Selling this home, along with one of his investment properties, was a way of upgrading his primary residence to something even more deluxe.
Rubinstein sold the 375 sqm home next door — an architectural mirror image to his own — just a week prior, also for $6.25 million.
These were the top sales for the Waverly area at the time, according to a representative for Future Flip.
Rubinstein’s profit of over $1 million for the home’s sale was part of a move to upgrade his primary residence, which also involved selling one of his investment properties.
He has most recently rebranded his agency The Rubinstein Group (TRG), establishing a new Rose Bay office in September with its own luxury style.

Sydney – D’Leanne Lewis, Laing+Simmons
Another celebrity star of Luxe Listings, D’Leanne Lewis, has lived in the same home for 17 years now, which she shares with her growing kids.
The Laing+Simmons agent’s home sits in the eastern beaches of Sydney, where the single mum looks up her daughters Nava, Myka and Lyra.
“It’s a family home and we love living here,” Lewis said.
“It’s open-plan to the garden, close to the beach and everyone has their own bedroom.”

The six-bedroom home was bought in 2007 for $3.5 million, with its valued having skyrocketed in the years since.
A Brian Meyerson and Michael Suttor renovation was planned in 2022, aimed to make the most of the view they have over the ocean. The renovation is expected to go ahead in 2025.

Melbourne – Marty Fox, WhiteFox Real Estate
Star judge of the hit series The Block, Marty Fox, knows a thing or two about buying good homes — and selling them once they’ve been made even better.
Mr Fox is the chief executive of WhiteFox, which set up new offices in Brisbane and the Gold Coast this year. Known for flipping properties, the Melbourne agent has had two recent successes on that front: a home he bought in Elsternwick, and a holiday cottage up in Red Hill.
25 Allison Rd, Elsternwick, was bought in 2023 for $2.45 million. Mr Fox stopped the home from being bulldozed so he could work on restoring the 720 sqm property.

The four-bedroom, two-bathroom home features a Saint Tropez-inspired design, and Fox worked with his interior designer to restore the house’s classic design.
The home recently sold for more than $3 million, making for his 12th property flip in 15 years.
His 13th property flip was the holiday home at 361 Arthurs Seat Rd, Red Hill, which he and his family visited after buying it in 2021.
The home, build in around the 1950s, was turned into a retreat for their family featuring a renovation that tried to keep some of the three-bedroom house’s vintage features.

“It’s such a beautiful home,” Fox said. “It was a real escape for our three kids, they loved the space.”
Bought for $1.55 million, the changes to the home meant the property sold for $2.05 million, come October 2024.
The Fox family have now moved to a larger home based in Toorak.
