Daredevils have been given a second chance to own a contemporary Hamley Bridge home that comes with a large motocross track.

Vendor Mathew Graham, who has been riding motorbikes since he was a teen, moved tonnes of dirt to build the “stadium-sized” track at 329 Fidge Rd, refining it over the past ten years.

“Over the years that I’ve lived here I’ve probably had four or five different versions (of the track),” he said.

“Last year, I finally got a fair bit of dirt delivered out my way and I could finally build it the way I wanted.

“It gets your heart rate up. If you’re into racing, it’s a great track to get your confidence up and learn how to (do) jumps.

“And there’s no neighbours to complain about the noise.”

Passed in at auction earlier this month, the home, which has a price guide of $850,000, has been relisted through an expressions of interest campaign that closes on Monday.

As well as dirt bike riders, the 1.17ha property is ideal for horse enthusiasts, with stables, a large sand arena and two paddocks with solar-powered electric fencing.

The four-bedroom home is just seven years old, having replaced one with an almost identical floorplan that was destroyed in the 2015 Pinery fire.

In the main living area, polished concrete floors are a smart change to the timber tones used throughout most country homes, while a pressed tin metal splashback adds character to the kitchen.

With the closest neighbour a kilometre away, Mr Graham said the home had been an oasis in which to unwind and switch off after a hard day at work.

“Honestly, when I’m driving down the road coming home from work, all I see is the paddocks and the fields and the rolling hills and I’m going to really miss that,” said Mr Graham, who has secured a new job interstate, closer to family.

“In the wintertime, you can go outside and get a fire going and have a few beers and it’s just stunning – all green and lush and beautiful. It’s pretty blissful.

“But you can also crank the music up as loud as you want to because you’re not disturbing anyone.”

Having been passed in at auction at $830,000, selling agent Ross Whiston said eight potential buyers had since shown interest in the property and several more favourable offers had been received.

“When you’re (located) on dirt roads it does eliminate some buyers because not everyone wants to clean their car every day of the week but the lifestyle is definitely appealing in a property like this,” Mr Whiston said.

“Having no neighbours that you can physically see has been another drawcard for buyers.”
