Azure at 119 Quay Circuit, Newport is up for sale.
There’s plenty of room for all the toys in a luxe waterfront Newport home that comes complete with a 10-car basement garage, boat pontoon, and a ‘taverna’ style outdoor entertaining area overlooking the water.
Featuring a Mediterranean inspired feel, ‘Azure’ is the private residence of Homes by CMA founder and 2024 Brisbane Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Chris Baptista, and boasts a raft of high-end inclusions.
“We’ve built more than 2000 homes, and all the best ideas and thoughts have been included in this house,” Mr Baptista said.
“I’ve poured my heart and soul into its design and build.”

The indoors blends with the outdoors.
Set around a courtyard with swimming pool, the residence spans three levels and includes five bedrooms, a home cinema, private lift, a dedicated gym, and interconnected entertaining areas.
“When I first came to Australia, I fell in love with the waterfront,” Mr Baptista said.
“It was my dream to build a U-shaped house with courtyard, so I drew my own plans.
“It started as a courtyard house with three-car garage, but I love a challenge, so I thought why not have a basement as well?”

That basement includes space for 10 vehicles along with a lobby, ample storage space, and windows to the swimming pool above.
“I love cars, so I wanted a space where I could put everything,” Ms Baptista said.
“And that basement, well it’s spectacular.”
Featuring arches, gentle curves, feature stonework and timber accents, the home boasts a light bright feel and effortlessly chic resort-style vibe that is complemented by custom made furniture. “I work so much that I wanted to come home to a resort,” Mr Baptista said.
“It’s like you walk in and it’s a different world, and I love the fact you can see water from every part of the house. It’s just so relaxing.”

Designed to accommodate the entertainer’s lifestyle, the home also features a wine cellar, butler’s pantry and a covered ‘taverna’ style entertainment area, complete with built-in barbecue, dining island, and seating.
Directly opposite, the open plan kitchen, dining and lounge space opens onto the courtyard via vast stacker doors allowing the entertaining areas to connect.
“Everything opens up,” Mr Baptista said.
“So, when you have a party it’s fantastic as there is plenty of space and the whole area including the courtyard is connected.”

With almost 20m of water frontage, the property has a boat pontoon and is located in one of the most sought-after enclaves of Newport.
“It’s one of the easiest spots in both Redcliffe and Newport to get to the open water,” Mr Baptista said. “And Quay Cct is arguably the best street in the area with luxury homes that are all of a similar calibre.”
There is plenty of different options when it comes to entertaining.

Mr Baptista said he was drawn to Newport due to its potential and proximity to Brisbane.
“We had built display homes in Newport, and I just fell in love with the whole area,” he said. “They’ve created something really cool here where you can walk to shops and restaurants, you’re still close to Brisbane and it’s a nice environment with friendly people.
“After all, it’s one thing to live in a beautiful house, but this area also offers an incredible neighbourhood as well.”
