“Embrace the Hills lifestyle while still being close to shops and essential services from this stunning Macclesfield lifestyle property.

It has been a place they have enjoyed immensely, but, with them both getting older, one it now makes sense to leave and let someone else enjoy.
“I wanted to be able to potter around and do a bit on the property, and the home is absolutely beautiful too,” Mr Salkeld says.
“It’s a really comfortable home and we love having friends from the city over for lunch – they love it and can’t believe the wonderful landscape we look over.
“The sunrises and sunsets are simply incredible – from the kitchen and lounge we’ve got a 180-degree view and we’re basically at the back of Longview Vineyard, so it’s easy to pop over for lunch. Plus the birdlife here is amazing.
“Sitting in the kitchen is like being in a bird hide, with all the different birds feeding on the blossom.”
Conceived by Dash Architects in 2010, and boasting a 2023-built kitchen, the home has five bedrooms, three living rooms and a spacious alfresco entertainment area.
“The location is great too – we’re only 20 minutes from Mount Barker, 10 to 15 minutes from Strathalbyn and it’s about a 45 minute trip into the very centre of the city. It’s just brilliant,” Mr Salkeld says.
The home is on the market through Sam Oborn and Elle Gosling of Harcourts Adelaide Hills, with expressions of interest closing Tuesday, December 10 at 11am.
