Move over Atlassian, three execs from another tech firm, hyperscale data provider AirTrunk, have splurged more than $50m on new luxury homes across Sydney in just 11 days.
And in a move similar to the Atlassian co-founders, Mike Cannon-Brookes and Scott Farquhar who bought neighbouring mega mansions in Point Piper, the AirTrunk CFO has bought near his boss.
Prashant Murthy and his wife Nilani have just been revealed as the purchasers of the Mosman trophy home Yoorana on Balmoral Slopes.

Prashant’s boss, CEO Robin Khuda, is building a compound property on the other side of the park on Balmoral Slopes having bought neighbouring properties for $19.5m and $11m in 2021.
The Murthys are believed to have paid $25.5m for Yoorana before it got to auction.
The house won the 2015 Master Builders Association award for excellence in housing and pools and had a $27.5m guide in February.
It is the fifth highest sale in the suburb. Kingsley and Nic Yates, of The Agency, negotiated the sale but declined to comment.
Meanwhile chief marketing officer of AirTrunk, Lise Kay has just bought a $5.4m house in Willoughy with her husband Oliver through Di Jones agency and the pair are now expected to offload their home in Forestville.

Plus AirTrunk’s chief development officer, Paul Slaven, has paid between $19m and $20m for a house in Cranbrook Rd, Bellevue Hill.
The tri-level home with poolside pavilion, lift and climate-controlled wine cellar was marketed and sold by TRG’s Gavin Rubinstein.
So that’s three executives of AirTrunk all splashing the cash over just 11 days (February 25 to March 7) on top tier Sydney property.
AirTrunk was founded by tech entrepreneur Robin Khuda in 2016 and rapidly expanded into the Japanese and South East Asian markets.
This Cranbrook Rd, Bellevue Hill home was bought for circa $20m by AirTrunk’s chief development officer, Paul Slaven.
The sales agent was TRG founder Gavin Rubinstein.
The company was acquired by Blackstone last year for $24b, the nation’s largest acquisition for the year.
Khuda and his wife Melea Walker-Khuda had been looking for a trophy home on the Balmoral Slopes for some time and eventually bought the former Hordern family home on a double block in 2021 for $19.5m following that up with the next-door neighbour’s home later in the year for $11m.
A new tri-level home on the consolidated Balmoral Ave site is now under construction.
