Sales agent Conner Malan from Ray White Burleigh Group Miami said Jayson Pate was an on-trend architect in the area for luxury boutique builds, with this home “iconic” to his designs.

Typically, new build Jayson Pate designs within the locale sell for anywhere from $3.5 million to $5 million, he said.

Properties within this particular pocket of Burleigh – often referred to as the “Burleigh triangle” – were highly sought after, due to its proximity to the beach, cafes and bars.

Describing the property as a “Californian coastal”, Mr Malan said the build was completed just a year ago and its owners were selling in order to build an even grander Jayson Pate design.

Featuring hallmarks of Jayson Pate’s signature use of slab work, soft curves and stunning indoor-outdoor spaces, the property features four bedrooms, three bathrooms and 279sqm of living space.

Buyer feedback has centred on the impressive finishes and workmanship, Mr Malan said, with many commenting on the spacious outdoor area with enough room for kids to play.

Oak flooring, a large guest bedroom, a dedicated second entrance into the mudroom with bench seating, and an arched built-in bar, adjacent to the kitchen are other property highlights.

There was currently nothing on par for sale in Burleigh Heads, Mr Malan said.

“It’s typically a bit of a premium to get a Jayson Pate because everyone has faith in the product that follows,” he said.

“It lends itself to a few different (buyer) demographics. Ultimately, it’s someone who wants the beach lifestyle.

“It’s the sort of quintessential beachside purchase if you’re coming in from Melbourne, or Sydney.”

The property is set for auction on February 7.
