Three-club AFL player Shaun Higgins and wife Heidi are hoping to bag a $3m-$3.2m sale for their charming Hampton house.
Prior to his 2022 retirement, Higgins played 260 games across a career that saw him spend nine years with the Western Bulldogs, six years as a Kangaroo and two years at the Cats.
Raised in Geelong, he was selected for the 2018 All-Australian team and was also a dual Syd Barker Medallist, taking out both the 2017 and 2018 North Melbourne best and fairest awards.

Higgins and his sister Danielle became the first brother and sister to play for the same AFL club when she was selected for Geelong in the AFLW.
Danielle retired from the AFL in the same year as her sibling, 2022.
Higgins now has a matchday interchange role at the Cats that involves him working with the coaching team.
Buxton Sandringham director and chairman Mark Earle said Higgins, Heidi and their children relocated from their five-bedroom house at 18 Lagnicourt St, when Higgins was recruited by Geelong.
“The home is situated in a fairly iconic part of Hampton called Castlefield estate,” Mr Earle said.
According to Sandringham and District Historical Society research, the estate became Victoria’s second-largest settlement for returned World War I soldiers.
Some streets are named after Western Front landmarks such as Amiens, Passchendaele and Rouen.
Bayside Council encourages new homes in the estate to be built in a style that matches Castlefield’s historic character.
Mr Earle described the residence the Higgins built as “a rare combination of something that’s got character and has an incredibly practical floorplan”.
Near Castlefield Reserve, the double-storey abode features a picket fence, timber floors, high ceilings, box bay windows and plantation shutters.
A window seat in the study has a view of the established gardens.
The kitchen – equipped with a waterfall island bench, Neff appliances, including two ovens and a Miele dishwasher in the butler’s pantry – also looks out to the rear garden, plus the living and dining space.
“The rear aspect is lovely, overlooking the pool,” Mr Earle said.
Retracting bi-fold doors open to a deck, covered dining terrace, solar-heated swimming pool, cubby house and putting green.
The main bedroom has an ensuite and walk-in wardrobe, while upstairs boasts three bedrooms, an ensuite, bathroom and living area.
Mr Earle said the second living area could serve as a play area for younger children or a teenage retreat, making the home “superb for families”.
“It’s an unbelievable from the point of view of being in walking distance to a number of schools,” he added.
These include Haileybury, St Leonard’s College and Hampton Primary School.
The house will be auctioned at 11.30am on December 14.
